New rehearsal room now open
Thanks to everyone who helped out with this project and donated time, money or equipment towards its construction - you know who you are and your contribution is very gratefully appreciated.
This new room sounds totally amazing and we will be scheduling some recording sessions in here later in the year. For now, this third studio gives us more space and flexibility for scheduling rehearsals for our growing number of bands.
End of Term gig dates
Rock Scholars at Sorrento Quay
Back in March to mark the end of summer Rock Scholars took over the amphitheatre at Sorrento Quay and six of our young bands entertained the holiday crowds with an afternoon and evening of rock music. This free event was a great way of taking our music to the Perth public and giving our young bands an opportunity to play to a big new audience and we are planning further live events like this later in the year.
Thanks to all the bands that played, and to Sorrento Quay for inviting us. We are going back to Sorrento Quay in November 2017.
