Our jam sessions are a great way to experience the thrill of playing in a band for the first time, meeting new musicians to play with, or just having fun.
In a safe supervised environment - and supervised by some of the coolest musicians from the Perth band scene - the kids will spend a few hours playing contemporary and classic rock songs and learning the basics of playing together in a band - timing, dynamics, and how to listen to and play with each other. This not only develops musicianship but also the values of teamwork, respect and cooperation.
Some of the best bands currently playing in the Rock Scholars band program first met at one of our jam sessions.
We provide use of our fully equipped rehearsal rooms that are set up and ready to go with drum kits, PA systems, keyboards and guitar amps.
