The scholarship is open to any young musician resident in Western Australia aged 11 to 17, but special consideration will be given to those that can demonstrate the passion and commitment that we expect from a Rock Scholars band member. As with all Band Program participants, applicants must be able to sing or play their instrument well enough to play with other people. Please check our terms and conditions before submitting your application.
Upon applying for a scholarship place you may be invited to come in to Rock Scholars to meet us, to talk about your musical ambitions and aspirations, and to perform a short informal audition. Scholarship places will be granted based on the strength of your application, and our mentors’ assessment of your playing ability.
